Our
Root furniture
is made from
the very
base of felled
Teak trees.
As the by
product of
the Javan
timber industry
they would
normally
be burned
or left to
rot but we
travel to
East Java
and buy in
vast quantity
for our suppliers
who take
them and
then craft
these wonderful
items of
furniture
by hand to
a high standard
in their
workshops
in Central
Java. These
are unique
hand carved
pieces and
very rarely
are any two
the same.
Therefore
designs may
vary from
those shown.
